As the sunsets, on another beautiful day, the sword and the shield were in deep contemplation.  The Shield is plagued with self-doubt and obscurity. Turns to the sword and says. You are so fortunate to look at you all tall and slender you glide through the air with no cares in the world. You Stand up tall and proud and take no prisoners. Disrespected and insulted and hurt by these words, The sword gets up quietly and walks away as he gets to the door he turned to say we can no longer work together. The time has come for us to go our separate ways. Confused by the sword's reaction and quite hurt the shield demands an explanation. Not that I have to justify myself to you the sword replies, but from where I'm standing I am doing all the work. I have to make the decision the tough ones and I have to live with the consequences. All you are seeing is what's on the outside. What I want you to see but that's only half of the truth.The shield replies you don’t know how lucky you are. The sword replies back, It’s amazing the harder I work the luckier I become luck is in the eye of the beholder and sometimes I don’t feel very lucky. With the two at logger heads. The Knight walks through the door. He replied softly... I need you both. The shield protects me, and the sword gives me strength. It Wouldn’t work without both elements. The shield although your round you are also shiny.You take the punches and also stand proud. The sword although you have a lot on your shoulders. You hold your head with pride and when the time is right you do the right thing you should never feel guilty for that. They both looked at each other and realised that without each other they couldn’t do the job they were meant to be doing, what their life purpose was.

Just remember in life there’s always going to be people who seem to have more than what you have or be more important than what you are. But that’s only when you see things from the outside. If you look beneath the surface, everyone is fighting a battle that you can’t see. Work in a job that is hard whatever that might be.  Jealousy fear and anger will be the undoing of anything that is good in your life.
